Celebrities wowed by Mammootty’s ‘Peranbu’

Mammootty’s first Tamil film in about a decade, 'Peranbu', is drawing rave reviews. The film, written and directed by Ram, is about a father coming to terms with his daughter’s disability and how he learns to take care of her. The film also stars Sadhana as the daughter and Anjali Ameer. It is set for a February 1 release.
Actor Nivin Pauly says the “movie completely steals our mind” and lauds Mammootty for his “extraordinary and powerful acting”.Actor Anu Sithara said she expected a lot out of the movie and yet it exceeded her expectations.
'Peranbu' also touched IG P Vijayan who said the movie was “grand and touching”.
