Cannot compare my films now with previous ones: Manju

Manju Warrier's second coming though a bit tepid has proved that she still has the mettle to showcase powerful performances. However, one aspect the actress cannot seem to budge is the comparisons drawn by the audience between her previous and current films.
"The movies such as Karinkunnam Sixes and Vettah are completely different from the previous ones like 'Aaram Thampuran' and 'Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'.I feel that these cannot be compared," she said. "It is a complaint that I often hear from audiences and movie lovers, that the roles and characters I do are not as challenging as before. But as an actor, I have to select from the roles that come my way. It is a dream to act in roles that are loved by audiences."
The actress will next be seen in Deepu Karunakaran's 'Karinkunnam Sixes', in which she plays a volleyball coach.
