After the acclaimed Vanaprastham and Kutty Srank, National Award-winner Shaji N Karun is all set for an Indo-Polish-French production Gaadha.
This flick would also be the first time that Shaji and Mohanlal would be working together after Vanaprastham, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.
Also having got special mention for the Cam��ra d���Or Award for his flick Piravi at the festival���s ���89 edition, his latest movie stood had a good chance in securing funds from abroad at a time when not many producers come forward to take up non-commercial ventures.

���I think it was considered because of two of my movies were already screened for Cannes and the subject dealt with music. But I wouldn���t call it a non-commercial venture because every art form ��� be it an architecture or a symbol ��� has its own commercial value,��� says the acclaimed director.
