Mammootty’s horror drama ‘Bramayugam’ is holding well at the box office and according to the latest updates, the film has collected more than Rs 29 crore from Kerala within 16 days.
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Bramayugam’ has minted Rs 29.27 crore from Kerala after 16 days of its release. On day 15, the movie had collected Rs 62 lakhs making the second week's collections to Rs 8.12 crores.
Meanwhile, the film has collected Rs 25.82 crore from the rest of the states in India, and the worldwide collections amount to an impressive Rs 55.5 crore. Mammootty’s film also did good business overseas as the collection figures amount to Rs 25 crores. India gross collections for ‘Bramayugam’ stands at Rs 30.5 crore.
Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, ‘Bramayugam’ is the third directorial film by the promising filmmaker. Rahul Sadasivan’s debut film was the Narain starrer ‘Red Rain’ which unfortunately didn’t get much attention from the audiences. Rahul Sadasivan’s directing prowess was fully unveiled in the second directorial venture ‘Bhoothakaalam’ starring Shane Nigam and Revathi in the lead.
On the other hand, Mammootty, who is on a continuous success path, has the most awaited film ‘Turbo’ in the pipeline.
