Bodhi, a movie with a difference !

There are proofs that the absence of a strong male character will no way affect a movies success at the box office. Following the trend, Mollywood is currently witnessing a number of women-centric films and the latest one to join the bandwagon is Bodhi.
The period movie helmed by debutant G Ajayan unfolds the ruthlessness of caste system, and its aftermath on the society.Apparently, the movie set in the backdrop of Buddhist era traces the journey of a woman, named Mathangi and her spirited journey towards enlightenment. The lead character is played by Pooja.
Bodhi will hit the theatres on October 17.
