Biju Menon turns a ‘Thrissurkaran’ next

Through a slew of hits, Biju Menon has proved that he is capable of doing humorous roles. In his upcoming film too, the actor will hone his comic skills.We hear that the actor is again gearing up to play the lead in the upcoming film, Vellakkaduva, helmed by Jose Thomas, famed for the entertainer Mayamohini.ts scribe Babu Janardhanan informs us that Biju will play a quirky, ‘pakka Thrissurkkaran’ in Vellakkaduva. “Biju will be seen in the role of Riny Ipe Mattumel. He was once the driver and confidante of a jewellery businessman in Thrissur. However, with his unscrupulous nature and wickedness, he eventually becomes the owner of a jewellery establishment.” Babu adds that though the film is narrated in a humorous way, it has a serious and in-depth subject and will make viewers take a look at their inner self. “The protagonist has a difficult past and his character has different shades. We are also trying to instil all the flavours of Thrissur into the film,” says Babu. Interestingly, the movie will see Biju Menon romancing two heroines, who are yet to be confirmed. The shoot of the film is expected to commence in July. Meanwhile, Biju Menon, who has wrapped up the shoot for Sugeeth's Madhuranaranga, will also be acting in Anarkali by Sachi, where he plays a light house engineer. He is currently abroad shooting for a show directed by Siddique-Lal.
