Biju Menon & Suraj star in a Family entertainer

Starring Biju Menon and Suraj Venjarammoodu, Nadanna Sambhavam, directed by Vishnu Narayan, is a dark humor film that, while fictional, “has striking relevance to real-life and the characters are people we know and are around us,” says its writer Rajesh Gopinadhan.

“Biju Menon liked the subject and we also wanted the actors to retain some of their personality. He fit right in for the character of Unni, a marine engineer who is outgoing and friendly. It’s Biju who suggested Suraj as the other lead. We also felt that would be a good casting choice as Suraj gives that neighbourhood-man feel, which is required for the role,” said Rajesh.

The film also has Johnny Antony, Lijomol Jose and Sruthi Ramachandran in key roles.

The film, which hits theatres today, is bankrolled by Anup Kannan and A Renu under the banner of Anup Kannan Stories. Ankit Menon has composed the film’s music. Maneesh Madhavan, who has worked in films like Joseph and Ela Veezha Poonchira, is the cinematographer.
“This film will spark significant public debate due to its potent and timely content. It will strike a chord with audiences aged 15 and above,” says Rajesh.
