Biju Menon in a dark comedy

Biju Menon's latest releases prove that the actor is the popular pick for filmmakers especially when it comes to making realistic but funny movies.

The actor recently signed another such movie, with debutant Vinu Joseph, who had previously worked as associate director to Rajeev Ravi.
On the upcoming project, Vinu tells us, 'It's a fun movie on the lines of

Nadodikkattu

. There's a lot of natural humour based on realistic events. It would be safe to call it a dark comedy because the underlying thread is the pain in a person's life.'

The film will have two heroes, he says; while Biju Menon will be the lead, his co-star would be finalised within a week. 'The movie will also have three heroines. One of them is a Bengali actress and the other two will be from the Tamil or Telugu film industries. We are now in discussions with the actresses and hope to rope them in by the end of this month,' says Vinu.

The untitled film, which is set to go on floors by February next year, will also have a technical crew that has worked in Bollywood as well, adds the
filmmaker.
