Asif Ali and
Biju Menon have worked together in several entertainers including Ordinary and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. The duo along with Baiju have been roped in as the leads for
Nadirshah’s upcoming movie titled
Mera Naam Shaji
.
The trio will reportedly play characters named Shaji, from Kochi, Kozhikode and Trivandrum. The film, we hear, will go on floors in November in Thiruvananthapuram.
The movie, scripted by Kadhayile Naayika filmmaker Dileep, has
Nikhila Vimal as the female lead and also Sreenivasan in an important role. Asif, meanwhile, has Mandaaram set for release while Biju Menon’s Padayottam hit theatres on September 14.
