‘Bheeshma Parvam’ co-scenarist Devadath Shaji pens an emotional note ahead of the Mammootty starrer release

Mammootty’s ambitious film ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is gearing up for release. The Amal Neerad directorial is hitting the big screens on March 3. The Kerala government latest order allowing full occupancy in the theatres will work in favour of the Mammootty starrer. Devadath Shaji, the co-scenarist and the associate director of ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ has now penned an emotional note speaking about associating for the project.

“There are some things that happen in life that are hard to describe in words. This feels like one such thing. 15 years after 'Big B', Mammootty sir and Amal Neerad sir are coming together for a film - Bheeshma Parvam ; and I had the fortune of being able to co-write the script for it and work as the Associate Director. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude and love to my mentor, director, and inspiration, Amal Neerad sir, for giving me this dream opportunity. The fact that a legend of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty sir, is the lead in my first film is a source of immense pride. Knowing you and watching you weave your magic has been a privilege. Thank you, sir,” he penned.
He further added, “And very thankful to Dileesh Pothan sir for finding me through my short films and bringing me to the industry, and Madhu Narayanan sir for letting me work as an Assistant Director in his directorial 'Kumbalangi Nights'. Also big hugs to Ravi Chettan and Manu Chettan who has been through thick and thin with us in making Bheeshma Parvam a reality. Love and gratitude from the bottom of my heart to my parents, family, friends and colleagues ,all of whom have been my pillars of support all through my journey so far.The film will release this thursday, 3rd March. Meanwhile, 'Bheeshma Parvam' will also feature late veteran actors KPAC Lalitha and Nedumudi Venu in pivotal roles.
