Actress Bhavana has finally addressed ongoing speculation about her marriage with Kannada film producer Naveen.
In an interview with Galatta Tamil, Bhavana dismissed divorce rumors, stating that just because she doesn’t post pictures with her husband on social media, people assume something is wrong.
We’re not the type of couple who share updates every day"People assume I’m divorced just because I don’t post pictures with my husband. We’re not the type of couple who share updates every day. I find phrases like ‘You are mine’ quite cringeworthy. If there’s ever something important to share, I’ll say it myself—I don’t need to post photos just to prove a point." Bhavana clarified.
Bhavana on missed opportunitiesThe actress also reflected on the career opportunities she missed, admitting that her lack of focus had cost her major Tamil films. She revealed that she was initially considered for Hansika Motwani’s role in Vijay’s big-budget film Puli. Bhavana confessed that during the early days of her career, she treated film sets like vacation spots rather than focusing on building a strong filmography.
Despite the setbacks, Bhavana is now gearing up for a major comeback in Tamil cinema after 12 years. She will be seen in The Door, an action-horror thriller directed by her brother Jayadevan. The film is set for release on March 28.
Bhavana’s previous outingBhavana’s previous outing was in the Shaji Kailas’ directorial horror film ‘The Hunt’ which received mediocre reviews from the audiences and turned out to be a flop. Bhavana was also seen as the lead in the Tovino Thomas starrer commercial film ‘Nadikar’. Unfortunately, the Jr. Lal’s directorial also failed to impress the audiences even with huge hype. The movie turned out to be a flop at the box office.
