Mollywod actress Bhamaa will next be seen in a Tamil-English bilingual on math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. It will be directed by National Award-winning director Gnana Rajasekaran.
“I play Janakiammal, Srinivasa Ramanujan’s wife in the film. I am very excited to be a part of the project. It will be certainly a new experience for me playing an Iyengar girl,” says Bhamaa.
The movie has young actor Abhinay playing Ramanujan on the silver screen. Abhinay is the grandson of Gemini Ganesan, father of Bollywood diva Rekha. Well-known south Indian actress and director Suhasini Mani Ratnam will be seen playing Ramanujan's mother in the film.
The shoot of the movie has started in May. Reports suggest that the cast and crew of the film are currently busy shooting the film in Kumbakonam, where Ramanujan spent his childhood as a student.
