Gnana Rajasekaran’s bilingual directorial ‘Ramanujan’ has completed a decade since its release. The film clocked 10 years of its release today, June 11. The film was a biographical film based on the life of Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. ‘Ramanujan’ featured Abhinay Vaddi in the lead role, while actors Abhinay Vaddi, Suhasini Maniratnam, Bhama, Kevin McGowan, Abbas Mirza, Nizhalgal Ravi, and, Michael Lieber, essayed some of the crucial roles in the film.
Bhama, who essayed the role of Janaki, the wife of the protagonist in ‘Ramanujan’, has now penned a heartfelt note on the significant milestone. Bhama wrote on Instagram, “Janaki, a character so dear to me. It's hard to believe it's already been 10 years since Ramanujan. Being part of this film with such an amazing crew was truly a blessing.”
She also spoke about her co-stars, “Sharing the screen with @suhasinihasan Ma'am was more than I could have ever asked for, and working alongside my co-actor @iamabhinayvaddi was a wonderful experience.
