Writers Noor and Fahim responded in an interview with Ginger Media. Fahim said, “Not a single scene or dialogue was done to hurt anyone.” They added, “This is a proper spoof film, made by using references from many films, character references, and humour alone.” They also said, “If people understood what we intended, that itself is a good thing.” They explained that the scene shows the bad thinking of a character and said, “Only when a character is bad does the audience dislike a villain."
