Mammootty is all set to kickstart this year with one comedy investigative film ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’ and now his next is a game thriller film titled ‘Bazooka’. According to the latest updates, ‘Bazooka’ will be hitting the big screens in February.
The makers took to their official Instagram handle to share a new poster for the Deeno Dennis’ directorial and penned a note that read, “The Game Is ON!! #Bazooka releasing in cinemas, 14th February 2025!.”
The post was soon flooded with comments from fans. One commented, “Waiting, “ Another comment read, “One of the most awaited films this year.”
There were also a large section of the audiences who were concerned about the release date of the movie as it’s only days after the release of Mammootty’s ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’. One comment read, “Releasing on Valentine’s Day beside Bromance and Painkili is recipe for disaster. Postpone to April / May. This is a movie that targets Teens and young adults, please don’t rease during exam season.” Another comment read, “Really ? Dominic is releasing just 20 days early and this.” A third one shared the same opinion as the comment read, “Pls change the date.” There were also comments suggesting that an April release would be the best for the movie.
Written and directed by Deeno Dennis, Mammootty’s ‘Bazooka’ is a game thriller and the expectations are quite high for the movie. Nimish Ravi handles the cinematography of the film and the editing section is handled by Praveen Prabhakar with music and original score composed by Saeed Abbas.
On the other hand, Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s comedy investigation film ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’ will be released on January 23rd.
