Barroz: Mohanlal to cast ‘Marakkar’s ‘Chinnali’ in the film?

Recently there were updates on the film as to a couple of recasts, reshoots, etc. The film is written by Jijo Punnoose, who is famous for directing India’s first 3d film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ and actor Mohanlal will be the director of the film. , the actor and director from Thailand is roped in to play a major role in ‘Barroz’. Actor Jay J Jakkrit, recently has stunned the audience by playing a character named ‘Chinnali’ in the latest Priyadarshan film ‘Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea’. Recently the actor took to his Instagram handle and posted a photo with the actor Mohanlal and by sharing the post he penned a note that read: “ Ready to fight #Barroz”. This photo and caption made the netizens wondering on whether ‘Chinnali’ will be playing a major role in ‘Barroz’. Although there has been no official confirmation yet, the post was soon flooded with comments from the fans requesting him to join the project and some of them even wrote appreciation comments too.

Antony Perumbavoor has confirmed during the production works of ‘Barroz’ that the film is made on a whopping budget and will have all the qualities of a Hollywood film.

Also during the first day of the shoot, Mohanlal shared a couple of BTS pictures from the sets of Barroz, and those pictures which featured actor Prithviraj, Cameraman Santhosh Sivan, Writer Jijo Punnoose, made a huge buzz on social media. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran will be Playing and major role in the film as Ron Madhav and Mohanlal will play the titular character ‘Barroz’.
