Even with budget constraints, the Mollywood’s visionary filmmaker Vinayan has created the fantasy film ‘Athbhutha Dweepu’ years back and according to the latest updates, an interesting sequel for the movie is in works with the young and promising actor Unni Mukundan in the lead along with the actor ‘Guinness Pakru’

Vinayan announced the sequel to his hit fantasy film by sharing a picture with Unni Mukundan and the ‘Malikappuram’ script writer Abhilash Pillai. The ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ director penned a note that read, “After 18 years, a journey begins again to see the sights of the wonderful island (‘Athbhutha Dweepu’. This time Unni Mukundan and Abhilash Pillai are with Pakru. After movie with siju wilson we will reach wonder island 2024”

As the superhit film ‘Malikappuram’ script writer Abhilash Pillai is on board for the sequel of ‘Athbhutha Dweepu’, the expectations are quite high for the movie. It can be also expected that apart from Guinness Pakru, ‘Athbhutha Dweepu 2’ will be having an all-new cast.
The writer Abhilash Pillai also took to his official Facebook handle to share the announcement. The promising writer’s post read, “18 years back when I saw ‘Athbhutha Dweepu’ on the big screens, I never expected such a wonder to happen in my life. ‘Athbhutha Dweepu 2’.
