It’s been some time since
Asif Ali has been seen in a mass avatar. While his recent release
Mandharam
had him in different getups, his fans were eager to know when he would doing a ‘mass role’ next.
The actor surprised them with an announcement recently. “We have planned a mass movie. It’s something that I learnt after doing BTech that I have to do more movies with commercial elements. So, my next film with
Arun Kumar Aravind titled
Underworld
will be one such movie,” he said, adding that the team will begin shooting the film by January 2019.
Arun Kumar Aravind and Asif had earlier teamed up for the drama
Kaattu
. Meanwhile, Asif is currently shooting for the movie Kakshi Ammini Pillai in Thalassery.
