Ali will also be making an appearance in the movie. Asif is expected to be making a cameo appearance in the movie. Even though the movie is not a sequel to the 2011 movie, 'Salt N' Pepper,' chef Babu plays the lead in 'Black Coffee.' Baburaj himself is playing the lead character of chef Babu. The movie tells the story of four lady roomies and how chef Babu influences them.

Scripted and helmed by actor Baburaj, ‘Black Coffee’ the movie is expected to hit the screens for Onam. This is Baburaj's third directorial. He has directed the movies, Black Dalia (2009) and Manushyamrugam (2011) earlier.
