Malayalam film actor Asif Ali faced an unforeseen mishap while filming a fight sequence for the movie 'Tiki Taka,' helmed by director Rohit in Kochi. Suffering a knee injury during the incident on Thursday (November 23), the actor underwent treatment and was discharged from the hospital on November 30.

The actor's hospitalization followed a left knee ligament and Meniscal repair due to the on-set accident. Medical professionals have assured a complete recovery for Asif Ali after a period of necessary rest, prescribing a course of Physiotherapy to aid in the healing process.


'Tiki Taka' stands as a reunion project for Asif Ali and director Rohit VS after their successful collaborations on 'Adventures of Omanakuttan' and 'Iblis.' This film notably comprises 12 adrenaline-pumping action sequences and stars actress Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead role, recognized for her notable performance in the well-received film 'Godha' (2017) in Kerala.

Recently, Asif Ali grabbed attention on social media platforms due to a snapshot revealing his physically transformed appearance, tailored to suit his character in 'Tiki Taka.' The actor has diligently committed himself to a rigorous workout regimen for his role, showcasing his dedication to bringing authenticity to his on-screen portrayal.

On the other hand, Asif Ali’s previous outing was with Resul Pookkutty’s directorial debut ‘Otta’.
