Popular Bollywood costume designer and stylish Chandrakant Sonawane designed the costumes for the film, and Asif Ali penned a gratitude note to him.
Taking to his social media handle, Asif Ali dropped a couple of pictures and said, “One undeniable factor that makes Mahaveeryar stand out is it's costume which is designed by the highly creative Bollywood designer and stylist @_chandrakant_sonawane_ The confidence I gained in playing the character after the costume trial is immense because honestly being a fantasy period movie I was very very confused and curious on the appearance of my character. However, today am 200% sure that this appearance of mine is one of it's kind and is already stamped in the hearts of my audience. Thank you my brother Chandrakant I owe u big time (sic).”
