Movie buffs are riding high on Mammootty’s upcoming action- gangster movie ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. The movie will mark the team-up of director Amal Neerad and Mammootty after a long gap since their last movie ‘Big B’ which was released in the year 2007. From the character look posters and several other updates announced by the makers, it's sure that the movie would be a power-packed action drama. ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is billed as a theatrical release which is scheduled on February 24, 2022. During the production works of Mammootty’s ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, director Amal Neerad opened up about the upcoming sequel of ‘Big B’ which is tentatively titled ‘Bilal’, in an open discussion with a group of young movie enthusiasts. Amal Neerad said that he is not crafting any of his movies to satisfy a group of intellectuals and instead he loves to cater to the wants of the general public. Although he said these words about the upcoming movie ‘Bilal’, anyone who follows Amal Neerad’s filmography knows very well that he is a master at executing perfect commercial entertainers.

Actor Soubin Shahir, who plays the role of Ajas in the movie ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ opened up about the movie during the press meet of his recent movie ‘Meow’ directed by Lal Jose. When one of the reporters asked Soubin about ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, he replied without hesitation that the audience would be stunned after watching the movie. The actor also said that ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is a complete Amal Neerad show as it contains all of the filmmaking styles that we have witnessed in his previous works.

Actor Jinu Joseph, whom we have seen in most of the Amal Neerad movies, plays the role of Simon in ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. In an interview with an online media, Jinu Joseph said that he will be playing the role of Mammootty’s brother in the movie. He also said that the sequel of ‘Big B’ will be arriving soon after ‘Bheeshma Parvam’

Sushin Shyam is one of the talented music composers working today in the Malayalam film industry. The fact that he roped in to compose the background score is also one of the reasons why the anticipation level for the film is high. In an interview with an online media, Sushin Shyam said that he is really excited to work with the director Amal Neerad as he encourages him to try different styles of music composition in his films. Sushin Shyam added by saying that he has done some really interesting compositions for the movie ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ and is thrilled to see the audience's reaction to it.
