AR Rahman's 'Periyone' track from Prithviraj Sukumaran’s 'Aadujeevitham' gets nominated for Hollywood Music in Media Awards

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s 'Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life', one of his most acclaimed films, hit theaters earlier this year. The movie was a box office hit and also won many awards. A. R. Rahman is the music director of the film, and now the movie has become an official entry to the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) 2024.

Rahman has been nominated in two categories. The first is for Best Song in a Feature Film for his track "Periyone," sung by Jithin Raj. Rafeeq Ahmed penned the lyrics for the song.

The second nomination is in the Best Score for an Independent Film (Foreign Language) category for the background music in 'Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life'. The Hollywood Music in Media Awards celebrate original music used in films, TV, games, and more. The ceremony will take place on November 20 in Los Angeles, with big names like Elton John, Miley Cyrus, and Pharrell Williams attending. Renowned composers such as Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams will also be part of the event.



'Aadujeevitham' also featured Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, and Amala Paul in important roles.
