Actor Biju Menons next features him as a percussionist in the music maestros troupe; the makers hope to rope in Rahman in a cameo for the same Actor Biju Menon is turning co-producer for director Shajoon Kariyals new tale of five friends. While the actor plays a percussionist from A R Rahmans troupe in the film, sources say the team is hoping to rope in the music maestro for a cameo too.
Its too early to talk about that, because as of now, we do intend to do something of that sort. We are trying to sign him up for a cameo, informs Sachi, the scriptwriter for the film.
Incidentally, the music director for the film is Deepak Dev, who has worked with Rahman on projects like Rhythm and Thenali.
The story is about five friends, played by Biju Menon, Lal,
Suresh Krishna, P Sukumar and Sunil Babu. It is a full-fledged comedy, though, it cannot be considered slapstick, says Shajoon. The entire story is said to be about an incident that spans over two days. Bijus wife, in the film, plays an important role. The ruckus she creates on New Years Eve forms the basic plot, explains Sachi. Gimi George, of Ettekal Second fame, will play Bijus wife.
