Aparna Nair debuts in Tollywood

As luck has it, actress Aparna Nair, who has portrayed character roles in her career thus far, is essaying a lead role, that too, in her debut Telugu movie Chinni Chinni Asai. The actress will play a Malayali girl in the movie, which hit the theatres last week. She is cast opposite actor Ajay Reddy the movie directed by debutant Kiran.
Talking about her character, Aparna says, “I play a homely Malayali girl who is married to a Telugu guy.It’s a pure love story that also reflects on the problems of a love marriage.”
As Aparna had injured her back during the shoot of V K Prakash’s Mammootty-starrer Silence, she could not be part of the promotional activities of her Telugu movie. “I had stretched myself beyond a limit for one of the scenes in Silence. I was on bed rest at the time of the promotional activities in Hyderabad,” she says. Aparna plays the role of a married woman in Silence.
The actress will soon start shooting for her next movie Masala Republic, starring Indrajith in the lead.
