Ever since Aparna Gopinath debuted in Mollywood, the actress has been picking versatile roles that gives her enough scope to showcase her acting skills. After essaying the role of a young mother Aparna in Jayasurya's movie, School Bus, she will be doing an interesting role in a film that will evoke nostalgia. Titled Oru Nakshathramulla Akasham, the film is directed by Ajith Pulleri and Suneesh Babu.

'I play Uma from Kanjangad in the movie. Mine is an exciting role and the film has a thrilling tale which starts in Bangalore and ends in Kerala. I took it up as I found the story captivating,' says Aparna Gopinath.

Chacko will be the protagonist of the movie and will be seen as a Bangalore-based Malayali professor. Talking about his role,

says, 'I play an intelligent academician who is also a chronic bachelor. Also he is the heartthrob of students. In the movie, my character is shown as someone who is very much attached to his home town but hasn't visited his place for quite a while.'

So what's so nostalgic about the film? Suneesh who also handles the movie's script says, 'The film deals with those emotions which linger in every Malayali mind who lives outside the state. Their attachment towards their home state, longing to get back when old are explored in the movie.'

The film will also introduce a new face, Prajodh. 'He plays a youngster who is close to the professor. He reaches Kerala with the memories shared by his mentor and as he lands in Kanjangad he gets involved in a social issue,' adds Suneesh. The film also has K B Ganesh Kumar, Sujith Shankar and Santhosh Keezhattoor doing important roles.
