Aparna Das speaks about her role in ‘Priyan Ottathilanu’

Aparna Das, who is basking in the success of ‘Beast’ starring Vijay has a bunch of exciting projects in the pipeline including the Malayalam movie ‘Priyan Ottathilanu’. Helmed by ‘C/O Saira Banu’ fame director Antony Sony Sebastian, ‘Priyan Ottathilanu’ will feature Nyla Usha, Sharafudheen, and Aparna Das in the lead roles.
Speaking exclusively to ETimes, Aparna Das shared, “I am playing a very cute role in the film. My character is a wife. She is someone that most of us would be familiar with and can connect to. Most of us would have come across such a character in our lives. So it's really relatable. I am eagerly waiting.”

Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the director had divulged that ‘Priyan Ottathilanu’ is a feel-good family entertainer. “Sharafudheen plays the lead character named Priyan. He is a homeo doctor, by profession, and is a man, who is forever busy. He is also a family man whom all of us can relate to,” the director previously shared.
Apart from them, ‘Priyan Ottathilanu’ will also feature actors Biju Sopanam, Jaffer Idukki, Harisree Ashokan, veteran actor Ashokan, Sphadikam George, and ‘Thamasha’ fame Uma K P in some pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Aparna Das also has a Tamil movie titled ‘Dada’ in the pipeline.
