Aparna Balamurali says it was her ‘dream’ to work with Shaji Kailas

‘Kaapa’ directed by Shaji Kailas has hit the big screens on Thursday (Dec 22). The gangster drama featured Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, while actors Aparna Balamurali, Asif Ali, and Anna Ben played some pivotal roles in the film. Aparna Balamurali has now penned a note on Instagram speaking about her experience working with the team, especially director Shaji Kailas. The National-award winning actress expressed that it was her dream to work with Shaji Kailas.
“It was a dream to work with a legendary director like you sir. Thank you for making it happen through Kaapa. Thank you for Prameela ❤️,” Aparna Balamurali said in her note.
She also expressed her happiness working with the stellar cast, “Worked with my all time favourites @therealprithvi @asifali @benanna_love @dileeshpothan Jagadheeshettan. I couldn’t ask for more ❤️.”
Aparna Balamurali also took a moment to appreciate the cinematographer of ‘Kaapa’ - Jomon T John. “@jomontjohn chetta. You just made all frames magical! ❤️,” she said.

Directed by Shaji Kailas, ‘Kaapa’ is based on a story by GR Indugopan. As per the reports, the film crossed around Rs 1.4 crore at the box office in its home state on the first day. The film is expected to win more audience, especially as the festive weekend begins tomorrow (Dec 24).
