Aparna Balamurali performs a dance number

Actress Aparna Balamurali has entertained us with her dance moves through the film ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram,’ in which she performs a flashmob.

Recently, she shared the video of a totally different performance by her.
In the video, Aparna can be seen dancing to a traditional number, sung by

and composer Thanjavur Sankara Iyer, decked up in a Tamil style attire. Sharing the video, Aparna wrote on her page:

The video’s music production is by Satish Raghunanthan. It has flute by Nikhilram T P, guitar by Akash Menon, Chandrajith on rhythm, Mehtaab Ali Niazi on sitar, mixing and mastering by Srinivasan M, video production by Amosh Puthiyattil, makeup and hair by Ashna. The shooting location of the video was Kakkat Mana.
The actress, who is also a trained classical music singer and playback singer, is also well-versed in various traditional dance forms like Bharatanatyam, mohiniyattam and kuchipudi.

As for films, she was seen last in Malayalam in the film titled ‘Jeem Boom Bha,’ a comedy thriller directed by Rahul Ramachandran. She played a character named Chaachante Muth in the film. Aparna also has a Tamil movie, titled ‘Theethum Nandrum,’ coming up soon. The film is directed by debutant Rasu Ranjith.
