Anu Sithara, Sshivada leading ladies of Achayans

Director Kannan Thamarakkulam’s upcoming comedy-thriller Achayans, which stars Jayaram and Unni Mukundan, has started rolling in Kochi.

The team has just roped in the leading ladies for the project as well. Actresses Sshivada and Anu Sithara will play the female protagonists of the movie, scripted by Sethu.

Sshivada, who has just joined the set, says, “I am part of the film and have started shooting. However, I can’t say anything more about the project or my character at the moment.” According to director Kannan Thamarakkulam, “Sshivada’s character is a bold girl, and she is Unni Mukundan's love interest in the film. Anu Sithara also plays a prominent role, but her role, as of now, is a suspense.”

Amala Paul is also expected to join the film, though her casting is not confirmed yet Meanwhile, a source close to Amala says, “She is in the process of signing the dotted line, as of now. Amala should probably be joining the sets of Achayan in two or three days.” The actress is also busy with her Tamil projects Thiruttu Payale 2, in which she acts with Bobby Simha, Prasanna and Vivekh.
