Anu Mol to don two get-ups in her next

A daredevil artiste who has played many unconventional roles so far in her career, the actress is all set to tread the path again in her upcoming movie. Directed by editor-turned-filmmaker Don Max, her next movie 10 Kalpanakal starring Meera Jasmine also has Anu Mol in a pivotal character named Nancy. Don says, 'Nancy hails from a village in Idukki and is a traditional character, who is also quite mysterious. Most of her combinations are with actress Rithika, who played a prominent role in the recent Bollywood movie Airlift, starring Akshay Kumar and Malayalam actress Lena. Nancy will be shown in two different timelines - 10 years ago and today, and will have varied get-ups for these periods as well.'
Meanwhile, Anu Mol is thrilled that she gets to play different avatars of a character, yet again. 'I am happy that my films Amoeba and Veliya Chirakulla Pakshikal did well at the State and National Awards respectively, and was actually waiting for another exciting character for a while. I generally like to do such bold and courageous roles. People tell me, 'You are like a boy,' and then I correct them saying, 'No, I am a girl who is brave and courageous'. This is true regarding my character, Nancy, as well. She is all feminine and at the same time, quite bold.' The actress also has a few non-Malayalam projects in her kitty. 'I don't have the liberty to talk about them now,' she signs off.
