Antony Varghese, who has never shied away from performing characters that would go in-depth on his acting potential, is all set to headline in the upcoming sports drama film ‘Aanparambile World Cup’. Recently the makers announced that the film will release in May this year and the actor announced the same via his official Facebook handle.

’ actor penned a note that read, “ ‘Aanaparambile World Cup’ will reach you all on May this year.” The post was soon flooded with comments from fans who were all excited to hear an update from the Antony Varghese starrer film.

The film helmed by the debutant Nikhil Premraj is touted as a sports drama with some fantasy elements that tell the story of a few football-obsessed inhabitants living in a fictional village named ‘Aanaparambu’. Faiz Siddik will crank the lens for the film, whereas the music composition is done by Jakes Bejoy.
Apart from Antony Varghese, the film also features the actors
Lukman
and Balu in pivotal roles. The rest of the cast in the film includes TG Ravi, IM Vijayan, Nishanth Sagar, Danish, Archana Vasudev, Jo Paul Ancheryn, and Amal.
