Antony Varghese Pepe is all praise for the latest Malayalam release ‘Manjummel Boys’. The survival thriller helmed by Chidambaram has entered the Rs 100 crore club today, March 5. Antony Varghese, best known for his films ‘Jallikattu’ and ‘RDX’ recently watched the film, and took to his social media handle to express his admiration for the film.

In a note shared on Facebook, Antony Varghese shared that the film is kidu (awesome). He also added that it is delightful to see a Malayalam film being the topic of discussion across the nation. “I cannot adequately convey the joy of witnessing a Malayalam film making waves across the nation. I am not mentioning everyone, because all of them were exceptional. This is the movie that will flash through my head, whenever I go on a trip. That’s the impact the film on us. I will have to redo the stitches on my hand, that came out, because I was clapping throughout the climax,” Antony said in the note.

Helmed by Chidambaram, ‘Manjummel Boys’ is inspired by the real-life incident of a bunch of youngsters going on vacation, where something unexpected awaits them. The film has Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, and Lal Jr., in the lead roles.
