After the film ‘Padma’, the Mollywood actor-director Anoop Menon is teaming up with Ranjith and Durga Krishna for his next ‘King Fish’. Recently the makers announced the release date for the film which is scheduled for September 16th.

Anoop Menon took to his official Facebook handle to unveil the poster of his second directorial movie and penned, “Announcing KING FISH release ...September 16th.”

Ever since the announcement of ‘King Fish’, for over two years there were no further updates about the film and with the latest update, the audience is literally enthralled. The film comes with the tagline, “Country roads..take me Home.” The film also marks the second directorial film of Anoop Menon to release this year.

From the posters and also tagline, Anoop Menon’s ‘King Fish’ seems to be a feel-good entertainer with some humor elements. The film also has another tagline that reads, "A King's Mad Antiques."

Written and directed by Anoop Menon, ‘King Fish’ has ‘The Dolphins’ fame Zian Sreekanth roped in as the editor and the music will be handled by Gayathri Suresh and Ratheesh Vega.

‘King Fish’ has an ensemble cast. Actors Anoop Menon, Ranjith, Prasanth Alexander, Nelson, Niranjana Anoop, and Shaju KS will be seen playing significant roles in the movie.

Meanwhile, Anoop Menon’s ‘Padma’ hit the big screens on July 15th and received many positive responses from the audience. The story revolved around a psychologist Ravishankar and his wife Padmaja. Actors Anoop Menon, Surabhi Lakshmi, Mareena, Maala Parvathi, and Dinesh Prabhakar played significant roles in the movie.
