Anoop Menon shares a video from ‘Padma’ location

A few months ago, director – writer Anoop Menon had announced his next film ‘Padma,’ in which National Award winner actress Surabhi Lakshmi would be featured playing the eponymous role.Now, he has shared a short fun video from the film’s set, in which he can be seen working with the technicians on selecting shots and the like in a casual mood, wearing a homely mundu and shirt. Anoop will also direct and play the main lead in addition to writing the story and screenplay. The movie’s story is reportedly set against the backdrop of a big city. The movie also has Shankar Ramakrishnan and Mereena Michael in major roles. The movie will also have a handful of newcomers playing pivotal roles.A few months ago, Anoop Menon had announced on his social media page, welcoming Surabhi into the project: “Presenting the very talented national award winner Surabhi Lakshmi as our PADMA.”Surabhi Lakshmi was elated to receive a warm welcome and the actress also shared that the project is very close to her heart. “It's an extremely proud and delightful moment.
