Anoop Menon reveals his look in Padma

A few weeks ago, actor Anoop Menon had revealed the look of Surabhi Lakshmi in his upcoming directorial Padma.The actor recently revealed his look too, in the movie. In a clean-shaven look, he looks very different in his character get-up for the movie. The actor is writing the story and screenplay of the movie, in addition to playing its lead actor and also directing the film. It was earlier revealed that the movie’s story takes place against the backdrop of a city. Mareena Michael and Anoop’s close friend Shankar Ramakrishnan also play important roles in the movie. The actor’s directorial debut was through the movie King Fish, which is yet to release. As for Padma, he has roped in about 20 newcomers alongside established actors to play the various characters in the film. Anoop, who had shared Surabhi’s look from the movie via his page a few months ago, had captioned it, “Presenting the very talented national award winner Surabhi Lakshmi as our PADMA.” Surabhi had responded to the post, thus, “It's an extremely proud and delightful moment. This is so close to my heart that now it's not just me, it's us. Me and my PADMA. Thank you Anoopetta for trustfully giving me your Padma and letting me make her mine. Thank you Dulquer, Manju Warrier and all those who showed the love. Love to my entire crew for their support. Proudly and loudly I want to say, I own her (sic).”Surabhi Lakshmi, who had won the National Film Award for best actress for her performance in ‘Minnaminungu’ was last seen in the 2019 film ‘Ulta.’
