Photographer Mahadevan Thampi, who debuted as cinematographer in Mollywood through Anoop Menon’s maiden directorial has shared a video on his Instagram page. He has been captioned it as ‘Setting up for a shoot. All set to go for the shot.’

Mahadevan Thampi was recently in news for his photoshoot project with a Rajasthani street vendor from Kochi. The photographer who picked a girl named Azmaan from the streets had given her a makeover and the photos had gone viral. On the photoshoot, Mahadevan had said, “The concept, Street to Studio, has been on my mind for quite a while and I was in search of someone with whom I can work with.” The cinematographer spotted Azmaan on the streets selling products while he was driving one day. “I have heard many doubting the authenticity of guest workers. So, I went to where they stay in Kalamasserry to talk to them and understood that they are genuine,” he said.
Anoop Menon had announced his next movie with actress Priya Prakash Varrier which will be directed by VK Prakash titled Oru Nalpathukarante Irupathonnukari. It is a story of a 40-year-old guy and a 21-year-old girl and has a lot of dimensions. It is a script that the actor-director has worked during the lockdown. He told us that the movie doesn't have anything to do with the pandemic, though it is written during the lockdown. He said that it is a story that is happening in a happy space. The film will be shot in Chickmangalur. Anoop’s character's name is Thampi and Priya's Zara. She calls him 'Thampialiyo'. Zara is someone with a mysterious past. The film flows through the dynamics between Thampi and Zara.
