Anoop and Aji John reunite for Kingfisher
After Nammukku Paarkaan and Hotel California, director Aji John is all set to do his third project on the trot with Anoop Menon, with the latter once again taking the role of a scriptwriter as well for the film.
About their new venture, Aji says, “We have finished the first round of discussions. In the next 10 days, we will be able to give you a concrete idea. We will begin casting soon after.

Most of the cast from Hotel California will be a part of Kingfisher as well.”
The director also explains that the film, which is scheduled to begin filming on June 20, will be an extremely stylish movie that will be different in pattern and genre from Hotel California. Incidentally, the director-actor duo was set to work on two films earlier, titled Sherlock Holmes and Angry Birds, both of which have been postponed. The Angry Birds project when Aji was attached to it was a multi-starrer with Tabu, Bhavana, Mamta Mohandas and Rima Kallingal.
Aji informs us, “That project has been postponed because we are finding it difficult to get the dates of all the actors together. The title of the film is now being used by Saji Surendran for his next project with Anoop and Bhavana in the lead.”
