Anne Amie wins Best Singer Award at Filmfare South

Singer Anne Amie clinched her first Filmfare Award for her song

from the film Koode, which had Prithviraj, Nazriya Nazim and Parvathy in the lead.

“I have just won my first Filmfare award. I can’t just put into words as to how I feel. I am thankful to God, my family, friends and Anjali (Menon) ma’am who directed Koode, Raghu Dixit, Rafeeq Ahmed and Nazriya,” she said, soon after winning the award.

She was nominated along with Shreya Ghoshal, Neha Nair and Megha Josekutty in the category.
