Anna Ben to feature in an awareness film that alerts about fake casting calls

(Film Employees Federation of Kerala) has decided to take an initiative to prevent the fake casting calls in the wake of Shamna Kasim’s case against the fraudsters. The committee has also now announced to make a short film that will alert the movie aspirers about fake casting calls. Young and talented actress Anna Ben will be featured in the short movie. Popular cinematographer Jomon T John will be filming and helming the short movie.

Meanwhile, FEFKA General Secretary B Unnikrishnan has also added that the movie aspirers should be alert about the fake casting calls. And FEFKA has also provided two telephone numbers, which will be operated by the Women’s Wing of the association, on which people can report as well as enquire and verify the authenticity of casting calls.

In addition to that, FEFKA will also provide special registration systems for casting agencies / casting directors. The details regarding the registered casting agencies / casting directors will be shared with Producers Association, AMMA, Directors Union and Production Executives’ Union. And thereby FEFKA is hoping to curb the frauds and exploitation taking place apropos auditions and casting calls.

. Making her debut with ‘Kumbalangi Nights’, the stunning actress has also starred in ‘Helen’, a survival thriller. Anna Ben’s last outing was ‘Kappela’ directed by Mustafa. She essayed the lead role opposite Roshan Mathew and Sreenath Bhasi in the movie.
