Ann Augustine to go school

The shoot of her next, director Lijin Jose���s Friday, is almost through and actress Ann Augustine is back to Bangalore, where she is pursuing her studies. ���I���m back at college to write my exams; this time, though, there is a difference. I wasn���t around during a major portion of this semester and here I am, all set to write the exams!��� says the actress, who is a postgraduate student in Clinical Psychology.
Incidentally, her academic pursuit comes as a surprise, especially since her film career is on an upswing. Ann���s last release Ordinary was a huge hit and her role in the flick was much appreciated. In her kitty is Friday, yet another film touted to fall in league with the changing face of Malayalam cinema. The much-delayed Vadhyar, in which she stars with Jayasurya, will also be released soon. Besides, there���s director Ranjith���s Leela, in which she plays the title role.
News doing the rounds has it that her Tamil and Kannada debut are also on the anvil. ���Yes; that���s true. Although everything has been finalised, I���m yet to sign the agreement. Once that happens, I���ll get into the details,��� she informs.
With so much happening on the professional front, she must be looking forward to more meaty roles in her future flicks, we presume. Not exactly, Ann tells us. ���I want to get married��� to a school teacher, and settle down abroad,��� she giggles.
But why a school teacher? ���Unlike techies who are racing against time, a school teacher will come back home on time; then there���s two months of vacation��� which other profession gives you all this luxury?��� she reasons.
