'Chakravyuh 'actress Anjali Patil made quite an impact in her Mollywood debut with her rooted-to-reality role in Rajesh Touchriver’s women-centric movie, 'Ente'. However, looks like the Mollywood audience will have to wait a while to see her next outing here. For, Anjali is currently busy in Bollywood and Sandalwood. “Though I loved working in the Malayalam film, my focus now is Bollywood.
You will see more of me in commercial films,” says this theatre artiste-turned-actress.
Anjali, who plays a prominent role in the Kannada movie,
Apna Desh, says though she enjoyed her stint in serious movies and short films, for now, she would love to do mass entertainers. “That’s the only way I can reach out to the audience,” says Anjali, who is all set for an image makeover in her next B’wood outing.
She will next be seen in a never-before-seen-look in Rajesh Bachchani’s latest film. “I play a typical Mumbai pataka girl, who speaks a lot and is quite bold. Though the movie falls into the science thriller genre, it is also a love story,” says Anjali, who is paired opposite
Hussain Kuwajerwala in the film. Anjali is also excited about her guest appearance in Prakash Jha’s
Satyagrah. “I took up the role just for fun. It also has some of the big stars in the industry like
Amitabh Bachchan and
Ajay Devgn, so I thought it would be a learning experience to just watch them act,” she says.
