Anjali Menon to direct next !

Lining up one of the biggest star cast in the recent times, scriptwriter-director Anjali Menon is all set for a grand outing in M-Town. While she has roped in Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil and Nivin Pauly as the male leads, the female roles will be donned by Nazriya Nazim, Mariyaan-fame Parvathy Menon, Nitya Menen and Isha Talwar! The film will start rolling on December 11.
The movie’s producer Anwar Rasheed says, “We are yet to name the film, but it is going to be an entertainer sprinkled with a lot of fun moments. That said, it will be a simple film. All of these artistes will have equally important characters. We are yet to finalise the rest of the cast.” Filmmaker-cinematographer Sameer Thahir will be wielding the camera.
One of the very few women filmmakers and script-writers from Kerala, Anjali’s ventures have always been head-turners, thanks to the simple-yet-unique treatment she always metes out. She bagged a National Award last year for the script she penned for the blockbuster Ustad Hotel, and a State Award for the screenplay of her directorial debut Manjadikkuru.Guess the filmsmith is all set to prove that she’s got more on the anvil!
