'Animal’ composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar makes his Malayalam debut with Bhavana–Rahman film 'Anomie'

Music composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who rose to fame with films like ‘Animal’, ‘Kabir Singh’, and ‘Arjun Reddy’, is making his Malayalam debut with the film Anomie.

Bhavana took to her Instagram handle to share a special poster featuring the ‘Animal’ composer and penned a note that read, “ANOMIE welcomes the musical sensation Harshavardhan Rameshwar to Mollywood! Get ready for a symphony of brilliance! @harshavardhan_rameshwar @riyas_marath @aadithprassannakumar @sujithsarang.”



The post was soon flooded with comments from fans. One comment read, “All the best, Chechi.” Another comment read, “Congratulations.” A third one commented, “Congrats Bhavana.”

Bhavana and Rahman in lead

The film stars Bhavana and Rahman in lead roles. It is written and directed by debutant Riyas Marath.

Along with Bhavana and Rahman, the film also features Vishnu Agasthya, Binu Pappu, Shebin Benson, Arjun Lal, and Drishya Raghunath in prominent roles.

First look poster shared by Dulquer Salmaan

The title and first-look poster of Anomie were released by actor Dulquer Salmaan. The film also marks a milestone in Bhavana’s career, as it is the first production under her banner. Sujith Sarang is the cinematographer of the film, while editing is handled by Kiran Das.

Bhavana’s work front

On the work front, Bhavana was last seen in the film ‘The Door’ which is a horror thriller movie directed by Jaiidev. The story revolves around Mithra, an architect at a major construction firm, who demolishes an old structure to clear space for a new project—unwittingly releasing a paranormal entity that brings chaos and death into her world.

On the other hand, Rahman’s previous outing in the Malayalam film industry was with the comedy film ‘Bad Boyz’ which was directed by Omar Lulu.
