Mollywood's action-packed drama 'Anchakkallakokkan,' headlined by Chemban Vinod Jose and Lukman, continues to maintain a consistent box office performance, collecting Rs 1 lakh on its twenty-sixth day of release.
The film has maintained a steady collection ranging from one to two lakhs over the past four days. On day 26, 'Anchakkallakokkan' sustained its momentum by adding another Rs 1 lakh to its box office tally.
According to data from the Sacnilk website, 'Anchakkallakokkan' has collected a total of Rs 2.75 crores within India alone during its 26-day theatrical run. Its global box office collections stand at an impressive Rs 2.64 crore.
The film unfolds against the backdrop of a western crime drama set in 1986, revolving around the murder of a landlord on the day of an election. Led by police officers, including the character Nadavaramban, the narrative follows the pursuit of the killer, who harbors a grudge against a particular family.
'Anchakkallakokkan' offers a compelling portrayal of the intricacies of law enforcement, with Lukman Avaran essaying the role of a timid police constable.
Hitting the big screens on March 15, 'Anchakkallakokkan' received good reviews from the audiences, especially for its well-executed action sequences, specially the toddy action scene in the movie.
