The fate of the action-packed drama 'Anchakkallakokkan' in theaters appears bleak as the film manages to collect a mere Rs 1 lakh in collections on its 21st day of release. The latest figures indicate a continuous downward trend in the film's performance, with collections around the Rs 1 lakh mark for the past three days.

According to reports from the Sacnilk website, 'Anchakkallakokkan' has failed to register any significant improvement in its box office earnings. Despite garnering positive reviews upon its release on March 15, the film's commercial prospects have been affected by a lack of traction and diminishing footfalls in theaters.

The movie, set against the backdrop of 1986, unfolds a gripping tale of western crime and intrigue, revolving around the murder of a landlord on the day of the election. Led by police officers spearheaded by Nadavaramban, the narrative follows the relentless pursuit to uncover the perpetrator with a deep-seated grudge against a particular family. Audiences particularly lauded the film's riveting action sequences, notably the standout Toddy action scene.

Starring Lukman and Chemban Vinod Jose in the lead roles, 'Anchakkallakokkan' initially generated modest buzz despite minimal promotional hype. Meanwhile, Lukman is all set for the upcoming film 'Turkish Tharkkam'.
