Anarkali Marikar plays a light-hearted character in 'Priyan Ottathilaanu'

, which has Nyla Usha and Sharafudheen in lead roles, also has Anarkali Marikar in an interesting role.

The film has Sharafudheen in the lead character of Priyan, who is a homeopath and forever multi-tasking with numerous things, including blogging. Antony tells us that Anarkali’s character is one of his fans-cum-online friends, whom he meets at a particular juncture in the story.

Antony says, “Their characters, who have been friends online, have wanted to meet each other for a long time. She is someone who likes to write and also follows online posts and more, intently. She is also a hardcore fan of Priyan’s writings and they happen to meet at one point of the story. They end up spending a day in each other’s company, in the course of the story. Her character is quite light-hearted and humorous, and I think it would be something new for Anarkali.” The team has already shot for about nine days in Kochi. “We have to shoot for 23 more days, the rest of the shoot is also scheduled in Kochi,” the director says.

Earlier, Antony had said that Nyla Usha brings about a suspense element in the story. “As for Sharafudheen and Nyla’s combination in the story, there is a shade of suspense, so I can’t speak about it,” the director had told us. The film also has Aparna Das, Biju Sopanam, Jaffer Idukki, Harisree Ashokan, veteran actor Ashokan, Sphadikam George and ‘Thamasha’ fame Uma K P in major roles.
