Amritha Suresh celebrates her birthday; calls Gopi Sundar her ‘husband’

Playback singer Amritha Suresh turned 32 on Tuesday (Aug 2). She celebrated her birthday with loved ones including her rumoured partner musician Gopi Sundar. In her birthday note, Amritha Suresh also referred to Gopi Sundar as her ‘husband’.

On her birthday eve, Amritha Suresh was surprised by her sister Abhirami Suresh and Gopi Sundar. She was also showered with gifts, of which the most priceless was presented by her daughter Avantika. The little munchkin made a handwritten birthday card, and also drew her mother. “My Sunshine…. This is how my birthday started… My first Birthday Gift….! what better gift can I ever have for my birthday…!! ❤️,” Amrutha Suresh captioned sharing a glimpse of the card.

For the unversed, Gopi Sundar and Amritha Suresh have been rumoured to be in a romantic relationship. Though the couple kept posting pictures and videos together, they didn’t make their relationship public.

Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, Gopi Sundar said, “What I have learnt in life is that, you will start being happy the moment you stop getting affected by what others think about you. There are many people who are miserable in their relationships, but hang on despite their unhappiness citing various reasons. We don’t want to be like that. Not everyone can do it, but both Amrutha and I want to be in control of our happiness and live happy. It needn’t affect anyone else negatively.”
