Malayali actor Nirmal Benny, who gained recognition for his role in the Fahadh Faasil starrer 'Amen', passed away early today (August 23) at the age of 37. His close friend and producer, Sanjay Padiyoor, shared the news on social media.
Sanjay posted a heartfelt message on Facebook, revealing that Nirmal died from a heart attack in Thiruvananthapuram. He wrote, “Saying goodbye to my dear friend… He was known for his role as Kochachan in 'Amen' and also starred in my film 'Dooram'. He passed away this morning due to a heart attack. May his soul rest in peace.”
Nirmal Benny started his acting career in 2012 with the film 'Navagatharkku Swagatham'. He became well-known for his portrayal of Kochachan (a junior priest) in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s 'Amen' and appeared in a total of five films, including 'Dooram'. Nirmal also gained popularity through his work in various YouTube videos. His sudden death has left a significant impact on the film industry and his fans.
