Amala Paul’s forensic thriller titled Cadaver

Amala Paul is all set to start work on a forensic crime thriller in Tamil which is directed and scripted by Malayalis Anoop Panicker and Abhilash Pillai, respectively. The movie, which will go on floors in Chennai on March 25, has been titled Cadaver.
The film has drawn inspiration from true events with renowned former Kerala police surgeon Dr B Umadathan having been consulted by the film’s team during its script development stage.
On the movie, Abhilash Pillai had earlier told us, “This will probably be the first forensic investigative thriller to be made in India with a forensic surgeon as the protagonist. Amala plays the role of Dr Bhadra, who is the chief police surgeon in Tamil Nadu, and the entire film hinges on her character’s ingenious skills and methods to solve a case.”
